I am home

I am home. It is wonderful to be here. And I feel great - although I suspect that a lot of that is the pain pills talking.

Unbelievable. Glad you are home and more comfortable. Amazing that you can have that kind of surgery and be home just a few days later.

Hugs.

Jim,
Glad you are home...somebody has to keep that cat company.

I've been in Jordan this week (When I called the other day and left the message I was calling from Amman.) Today I took a day trip to Petra, a place I know you have always wanted to visit. Needless to say, while wandering around the place, I gave more than a thought or two to how things were going for you. Not to fear, even with one and a third lung, you'll be able to get around the place just fine when you do get here.

Whoo-hoo again! So glad you're home. And I apologize, I said it was an ape trying in vain to fill your shoes in the office, but of course it's an orangutan! Guess I'm primate-challenged. Anywho, keep on keeping on. So glad to know that you have sister there to watch over you.

Oh, Jim, I just had to cry reading all this. You are so blessed with family and friends who care about you so, but you deserve it!

How unbelievalbe that you're home so soon! Ironically, Dave had tubes put in today for drainage and said it's unbelievably painful, so we'll have to compare notes.

You didn't miss much in the world. New attorney general. It's unbelievable to me that they actually wanted Al Gore for the job and that he actually accepted this position!

Sorry -- couldn't resist! Wanted to see if the drugs had worn off and if you were paying attention!

I'm so happy you're happy, healthy, and home!

It is so good to hear of your progress Jim. I think you have been a nurse's dream patient with your attitude.

Continue to feel better. It is such a pleasure to read your blog and learn of the daily progress!
