A rude awakening

This morning my little cat Sam decided it was breakfast time and jumped up on my stomach to let me know. That was a nasty surprise. I'll be using those ice packs today. They help with swelling and they provide a buffer against those pointy cat feet.

Hi Jim,
Hope you are resting and feeling better. I am home with some virus and I had just settled in to watch the end of a mystery movie when the cable guy arrived and knocked out the cable, the Internet, and the phones. Now everything is working again, but I was shocked at my dependence on those connections. I could have read a book, dozed, cleaned the house, but I WANTED those things I couldn't have! A nasty insight into my nature....Enjoy the judge shows, and I hope to see you soon.

Hey,
What makes you think it's your stomach? Obviously Sam thinks he has ownership. They do have a way of jumping on just the wrong spot.

Hope you're feeling a little better this afternoon.

I hope Sam learned his lesson this morning that love scratches are not a good idea. Keep getting better and relax as much as can.
